Brazil produced over 250 million tonnes of iron ore in 2003
with about two thirds of that being exported.
ALL of this was scheduled with NPV Scheduler... are you missing out?..
Our clients in Brazil include the world’s largest iron ore producer and exporter, CVRD (Companhia Vale do Rio Doce), as well as another of the worlds top five producers, MBR (Minerações Brasileiros Reunidas).
While just these two names would be prize enough, our client list also includes CSN (Companhia Siderurgica Nacional) and Samarco Minerações demonstrating the aptitude of NPV Scheduler to the blending inherent in delivering a product which meets a variety of mineral specifications.

The beauty of the software is that it incorporates the ability to maximize either the NPV or the resource using a blend constraint. Furthermore, the ability to schedule using multiple targets allows a user to define as many element targets as required to ensure that the schedule will meet product specifications. This is in addition to any targets that a user might want to apply to control the strip ratio, truck hours, crusher tonnages or head grade or other factors which will ensure that the schedule is practical.

Our clients get all of this in one software solution without the need to purchase extra modules to generate pushbacks, produce graphs, or develop schedules. Furthermore, Datamine see NPV Scheduler as such an extremely powerful and important tool that we are continuing development of related and downstream software.
This has already produced MultiMine Scheduler – one of the first products on the market to optimize scheduling for multiple mines back in 2002. We are currently developing an innovative new optimization product, Operation Scheduler which utilizes the results from NPVS and develop optimized short-term schedules.

Product development is already underway and being performed by Dr Bolek Tolwinski (the mathematician who developed NPV Scheduler).
You couldn't ask for a better demonstration of our belief that NPV Scheduler is the premier strategic mine planning tool on the market. Just ask the Brazilians. |
